online action on Victory Day
"Voice of Truth"
The international youth historical and educational online action "Voice of Truth" will become part of the historical research project "Preservation of the historical truth about the Second World War and the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945" (hereinafter referred to as the Project), which is being implemented in 2022 within the framework of the five-sided social -cultural program "BRICS people choosing life" with the support of the Department of Foreign Policy Planning and Territorial Departments of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Department of Museums and External Relations of the Ministry of Culture of Russia, the Embassies of the BRICS countries in Russia, the Embassies of Russia and the representative offices of Rossotrudnichestvo in the states of the "five".
In World War II, the peoples of the BRICS countries: Brazil, India, China and South Africa took part in the anti-Hitler coalition.
In order to preserve the historical truth about the mutual assistance and solidarity of the peoples of the “five” on the war fronts, in 2021, a five-sided historical and literary project “BRICS People: Dedicated to the Heroes of Wars” was implemented, dedicated to the 75th anniversary of the Victory over fascism and Japanese militarism (link to the Presentation project at the Central Victory Museum in Moscow ).
Active partners and participants in the anniversary project were children, schoolchildren, students and youth from the countries of the association, determined to continue to carry and affirm the historical truth about these wars and their heroes.
The main objectives of the Promotion:
to enrich the students and youth of the BRICS states with truthful knowledge about the history and main battles of the wars, the role of each country of the "five" in the Victory over the common enemy, taken from archives and reliable sources, which will be introduced to the young participants of the Action by the authors of literary and historical works, historians, scientists, experts from the countries of the "five";
spiritual, moral and patriotic education of the younger generation in the spirit of deep respect for the feat and history of their country and other states of the "five";
rapprochement of the BRICS youth on the basis of multilateral activities to preserve the universal historical memory and the truth about the Second World War and the Great Patriotic War.
The Action will be organized by the Regional Public Organization “BRICS. World of Traditions” and by the International Youth Edu - Skills Foundation.

The action "Voice of Truth" will be held on Victory Day on May 9, 2022, becoming an international peace-loving educational online platform for the formation of the moral culture of the young generation of the BRICS countries, the prevention of manifestations of nationalism and extremism among the youth.
Invited students and young people will have the opportunity to participate in discussions, indicate their attitude to the topic of preserving historical truth, counteracting its falsification, and give their suggestions on the format for the participation of the younger generation in this process, based on moral values, peacefulness and acquired truthful knowledge.
