BRICS Educational Expedition was Held in Ahmedabad, India

The educational event, which aimed to train young leaders and heads of NGOs from different countries on the basics of interaction in the BRICS association, was held at Gujarat University in Ahmedabad (India) from November 16 to 18.


Diana Kovela, Deputy Executive Director of the Creative Industries Foundation in the Ulyanovsk Region and Deputy Head of the Russia-BRICS Project Office for International Youth Cooperation, headed the BRICS Educational Expedition.



The program included expert lectures, seminars to discuss successful youth practices, as well as the formation of initiatives for subsequent implementation by young BRICS leaders. The program experts were representatives of various organizations specializing in the field of international relations in the countries of the alliance.


During the 3-days program, more than 100 young leaders from India learned about the fundamental issues of cooperation between the BRICS countries.



Russian and foreign experts from relevant organizations and departments of BRICS revealed the issues of the history of the BRICS development and its key values, economic aspects of BRICS activities, youth cooperation, humanitarian interaction of the countries, intercultural features, and much more.


In the future, the BRICS Educational Expedition will travel to Iran, the United Arab Emirates, Ethiopia, Brazil, and other BRICS countries.
