Akil Mohammad Highlights the Role of International Education in Strengthening Cross-Cultural Dialogue at 2nd World Public Assembly in Moscow

Moscow, Russia — Akil Mohammad, Co-founder of Smart Mir Services LLC and Founder of the International Youth Edu-Skills Foundation (IYESF), addressed the 2nd World Public Assembly in Moscow, speaking on the theme “International Education Projects as a Platform for Dialogue Between Cultures.”

In his address, Akil Mohammad highlighted the growing importance of BRICS educational platforms and international academic cooperation in bringing young people from different countries and cultures together. He also shared insights from his own experiences of working and participating in international programmes across Russia and other countries, emphasizing the value of Russia’s educational opportunities for international students and young professionals.

He noted that international education is not only about academic qualifications, but also about building cultural understanding, professional networks, friendships and long-term cooperation among nations.

Addressing young people, Akil encouraged them to take initiative and transform ideas into action. He emphasized the importance of setting small, achievable goals, taking the first step, learning through experience and consistently working towards larger ambitions.

“You don't always need to start with a big project. Start with a small goal, take the initiative, and work consistently to realize it. Small steps can create meaningful change and open the way to bigger opportunities,” he said.

The session brought together participants from different countries and backgrounds, creating an opportunity for dialogue on education, youth development, international cooperation and the role of young people in building stronger connections between cultures.
