A meeting at the Higher School of Economics (HSE) was held to explore potential partnership with IYES Foundation
In a significant meeting held on December 14, 2023, Olga V. Volosyuk, Head of the Faculty of World Economy and International Affairs/ School of International Regional Studies at the Higher School of Economics (HSE), engaged in discussions with Akil Mohammad, Founder and Chairperson of the International Youth Edu-Skills Foundation (IYES), to explore collaborative opportunities and partnerships.
The central focus of the meeting was to establish a framework for information exchange, facilitate mutual participation in projects, and explore potential joint initiatives aimed at fostering Indian-Russian cooperation and collaboration within the BRICS format.
During the discussions, Professor Olga emphasized the strategic importance of India in establishing partnerships, highlighting the need to study the Indian market, business practices, and culture to facilitate a seamless collaboration between the two nations. She further noted the initiation of an Indian Club within the university, where students have enthusiastically begun learning the Hindi language.
Professor Olga extended an invitation to representatives from the IYES Foundation to actively participate in the Indian Club's activities and present insights through engaging presentations. This initiative aims to enhance cross-cultural understanding and strengthen ties between the academic communities.
The meeting marked a pivotal step towards fostering collaboration, cultural exchange, and joint projects that align with the shared goals of both institutions, reflecting a commitment to enhancing the educational landscape and promoting bilateral cooperation.
