The Gorchakov Fund announces the start of competitive selection of participants for this year's final research and educational program “The Dialogue for the Future — 2025”. The in-person event, held for the 15th year in a row, will be devoted to reflection on the 80th anniversary of Victory Day and the founding of the United Nations.

Topics of discussion:

• The victory of the USSR and the Allied Powers in World War II

• The UN at the crossroads of International Relations and the future of the organization

• Current configuration of the world order and the role of Russia

• Current state of the global financial system and its development prospects

  
  

Who can participate?

Representatives of Russia and other countries aged 25 to 35 are invited to apply, including-

• specialists in International Relations, Political Science, Economics, Journalism and History;

• young diplomats and public officials;

• representatives of public organisations engaged in international humanitarian cooperation and public diplomacy;

• Master’s students, PhD students and faculty of relevant universities.

Essay topics:

1. The Historic Role of the UN during the Bipolar Era of International Relations.

2. Paths to UN Reform and Transformation in the 21st Century.

3. The UN as a Guarantor of International Peace and Security amid Geopolitical Conflict between the Great Powers.

For the authors of three best essays, travel expenses will be covered by the organisers.

Terms of participation:

• The organisers cover the costs of accommodation in double rooms, meals, cultural program, and transfer through Moscow as part of the programme, as well as provide visa support;

• The participants must pay for their travel to Moscow and back, and transfer to and from the airport (railway station).
