The “50/50” training seminar for specialists from government agencies and public organizations of the member states of the Commonwealth of Independent States working with youth will be held from May 19 to May 25, 2024, including days of arrival and departure, in Moscow and will bring together platform of representatives from the governmental and non-governmental sectors of the field of youth policy of the member states of the Commonwealth of Independent States.
The “50/50” training seminar is held to develop a system of training and advanced training for specialists in working with youth and youth workers, encouraging new approaches and promoting a policy of interaction between various entities involved in the development and implementation of youth policy in the CIS at various levels.
Target:
Organize an educational communication platform that brings together specialists in working with youth and youth workers from member states of the Commonwealth of Independent States, with the aim of strengthening friendly and professional ties, consolidating experience, improving professional skills and competencies, developing further cooperation to increase the effectiveness of youth policy in the CIS.
Tasks:
create conditions for the exchange of experience and the formation of a community of specialists in working with youth and youth workers of the CIS member states interested in developing further cooperation;
discuss the current state of youth policy in the CIS member states;
present the experience, approaches and successful practices of the CIS member states in the field of youth policy and organization of work with youth;
identify and consider current challenges in the field of youth policy in the CIS, and also discuss ways to respond to them;
develop professional and trans-professional skills of specialists in working with youth and youth workers of the CIS member states, necessary for work in the field of youth policy in the CIS region;
support open dialogue and cooperation between representatives of the governmental and non-governmental sectors of the field of youth policy of the CIS member states for the effective implementation of the Strategy for International Youth Cooperation of the CIS Member States for 2021–2030 and youth policy in the CIS space.

The “50/50” training seminar for specialists from government bodies and public organizations of member states of the Commonwealth of Independent States working with youth is held jointly by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation, the National Council of Youth and Children's Associations of Russia and the federal state budgetary educational institution higher education "MIREA - Russian Technological University", performing the functions of the Basic Organization of the CIS Member States for working with youth.
