EPFL’s Excellence Research Internship Program (ERIP) offers the opportunity for outstanding students to experience research for three months in this stimulating environment.

Eligibility and application:

The EPFL Excellence Research Internship Program (ERIP) offers laboratory internships of three months to outstanding students. Candidates have to be enrolled in one of the program’s partner universities from North America and Singapore.

Excellent students (top 10%) at the Bachelor’s or Master’s level are accepted, and applicants must-

• have at least completed their 2nd year of a Bachelor’s degree (undergraduate) when they start the internship

• be enrolled as regular students at their home university during the entire length of the internship

• come from one of our program’s partner universities

• be nominated by their home institution's international exchange office

Excellence Scholarship:

• A scholarship of CHF 1,800 per month (pro rata to the actual duration) will be awarded to all candidates selected for an internship.

• The Excellence scholarship is considered a living allowance to cover the intern’s housing and minimum living expenses. Therefore, it is only granted to those who spend their internship in person in Switzerland.
