The Gorchakov Fund, together with the Institute of Oriental Studies of the Russian Academy of Sciences and UWC Dilijan College, announces the BRICS Summer School, to be held from June 30 to July 3 in Dilijan.
The program will focus on the Middle East dimension of BRICS, the association's work with new members, and the development of youth cooperation within the expanded format. Over the course of four days, participants will enjoy lectures, panel discussions, strategic sessions, group work, and informal communication in an international environment.
Who can participate?
Young specialists in the field of international relations, regional studies, world politics and economics aged 21 to 30 from the post-Soviet countries are invited to participate.
How to apply?
Register on the Russian-language website of the Gorchakov Fund or log in to your existing profile.
In the “My projects” section, click on the “Create an application” button and select “BRICS Summer School in Dilijan”.
Fill out all sections of the questionnaire.
Attach a link to a video essay (1–3 minutes) explaining your motivation for participation and reflecting on the topic: “How will BRICS change with the entry of new countries in 2024?”
Click the "Submit Application" button in the appropriate section.
Conditions of participation:
The organizers provide accommodation at the college, meals and transportation within the program.
Participants pay for travel to Armenia and back, as well as medical insurance themselves.
The authors of the six best applications will be paid for travel to Dilijan and back.
