On September 22–23, Nizhny Novgorod will host the regional program of the International BRICS School: New Generation, dedicated to energy cooperation and sustainable development across BRICS countries.

Over two days, participants can expect lectures by leading experts, workshops, quizzes, and discussions on the key directions of BRICS development, the role of innovative technologies, and the prospects for international cooperation in the energy sector.

Program topics:

• The role of BRICS in the modern international system.

• Energy cooperation among BRICS countries.

• The activities of the BRICS Energy Research Platform.

• The prospects of nuclear energy and high-tech projects.

• Young people’s contribution to promoting the sustainable development agenda.

The Progran is for:

• Students and graduates, interested in International Relations and BRICS studies

• Young scientists and researchers in all fields of the humanities and social sciences

• Young diplomats and government officials, engaged in BRICS cooperation development

• Representatives of NGOs, youth leaders, social activists and volunteers, involved in public diplomacy

• Young entrepreneurs, who develop socially oriented business projects within BRICS

• International journalists

Admission Criteria:

• Youth aged 18 to 35 years

• Level of English proficiency (B2 or higher is recommended)

• Keen interest in BRICS studies
