AYFN presents an opportunity for young individuals to engage in a short-term Japanese cultural immersion program. The camp invites participants from around the globe to experience Japan first-hand through exciting and meaningful activities.

Held in collaboration with a local partner, this program is crafted to help international participants broaden their understanding of Japanese culture and society. The agenda includes daily activities and cultural excursions to offer a full immersion experience. English will be used as the primary language, so no prior knowledge of Japanese is necessary.

Eligibility:

• All nationalities can apply

• Must be between 17 – 40 years old

• Have an interest in Travel and Culture

• Involvement in social and youth activities

• Demonstrate leadership potential

• Able to travel to Japan during the program

• Ready to document all activities

  
  

Required documents:

• Curriculum Vitae (Resume) – Europass standard.

• Motivation letter on “Why do I need this scholarship?” (max: 250 words)

• Essay on “Why I deserve this scholarship?” (max: 250 words)

• A simple self-introduction video (Max: 2 minutes)

• A payment receipt for E-book

• All documents must be in English

Program Benefits:

• Stay 6 days in vibrant Osaka, Japan

• Join a pre-departure Japanese language online class

• Cultural activities in Kyoto (Kimono experience, Higashiyama Walking Tour, Matcha Experience)

• Explore local customs: food, lifestyle, and cultural experiences

• Engage in experiential learning with a global community

• Receive an e-certificate of participation from AYFN

Scholarship:

• Travel grant (Gold - upto USD 750, Silver - upto USD 250)

• 6 days and 5 nights of accommodation (shared double room)

• 4 breakfasts and 4 lunches

• All cultural and educational activities as stated in the itinerary

• Scheduled sightseeing tours

• Local transportation

• E-Certificate of participation issued by AYFN

• Full program guidance and support

• In-country coordination and administrative fees

• A special souvenir from AYFN
