Asian Dialogue is a flagship international initiative of the Gorchakov Fund aimed at fostering expert-level dialogue between Russia and Asian countries. Since its launch in 2023, the program has become a platform for discussions and the development of a new generation of international affairs specialists.
This year’s theme — ASEAN-Russia Dialogue Strategic Partnership in Times of Turbulence.
Who can participate?
Young professionals aged 18 to 35 from Russia, ASEAN countries, and other interested states
Researchers and graduate students (IR, political science, economics, etc.)
Journalists and analysts specializing in Asia-Pacific affairs
Diplomats and public sector professionals
Representatives of NGOs working in international cooperation
How to apply:
Register on the English version of the Gorchakov Fund website or log into an existing account.
Go to ‘My Projects’, click ‘Create Application’, and select ‘The Asian Dialogue – 2025’.
Fill in all sections of the application form.
Upload an analytical essay (up to 10,000 characters including spaces) on one of the topics listed below.
Write a motivation letter (up to 2,000 characters) explaining why you want to join Asian Dialogue – 2025.
Go to the ‘Submit Application’ section and click the corresponding button.

The travel expenses of the authors of the five best essays will be covered by the organisers.
Terms of participation:
The organisers cover the costs of accommodation, meals, along with the travel as part of the programme.
The participants must pay for their travel to the venue and back, visa fees, and medical insurance valid in the territory of the Russian Federation.
