The International Youth Economic Forum will be held on 8 June, bringing together young entrepreneurs, managers, talented students, postgraduates and scientists, including those awarded scholarships, grants and prizes of the President of the Russian Federation. The International Youth Economic Forum is organized by the Roscongress Foundation and will traditionally be held on the last day of SPIEF.
The agenda of the SPIEF 2024 Youth Day covers all areas of self-fulfilment of the younger generation: business support measures, development of youth professional communities, international scientific and technological projects, tourism, environmental protection and much more.
This year, the format of the SPIEF 2024 Youth Programme will be conceptually changed in favour of practice-oriented content at the Forum venue and will contain new formats aimed at creating opportunities for self-fulfilment of young talented leaders, developing the institute of mentorship and involving young people in addressing issues on the global socio-economic agenda.
"The main goal of the new format is to create a permanent, innovative and inspiring platform for talented young people, thanks to which, year after year, a ‘talent pool’ of the best young specialists in various areas of the economy will be formed for the leading Russian companies," said Anton Kobyakov, Adviser to the President of the Russian Federation and Executive Secretary of the SPIEF Organizing Committee.
It is planned that the speakers of the business programme will be representatives of the international community of next-generation leaders and entrepreneurs ‘Friends for Leadership’ (FFL), which was formed as a result of the World Festival of Youth and Students in 2017. FFL has received confirmation of the Special Consultative Status of the UN Economic and Social Council through the Centre for International Promotion, which together with the Roscongress Foundation and with the support of the Presidential Programme ‘New Generation’ implemented by Rossotrudnichestvo, has been working for 5 years, and now it has been brought to the world level with new opportunities for interaction with the UN.
In order to ensure that SPIEF functions as an effective mechanism for interaction, business communications and fruitful dialogue between the youth community, representatives of the authorities and world-class experts, the SPIEF Organizing Committee decided to accredit Youth Day participants without a registration fee.
SPIEF 2024 will take place on 5–8 June in St. Petersburg.
