Organizer


The Shanghai Online Summer School (BRICS Program) 2022 is sponsored by the Shanghai Municipal Education Commission and organized by the Fudan University BRICS Research Center.


Introduction


Since its inception in 2014, the BRICS Summer Program has been held annually for 8 years. The program aims to create a platform of friendship and consensus for young students from the BRICS countries, provides the young generation of the BRICS countries with the opportunity to better understand China's socio-cultural, political and economic development, BRICS cooperation and changes in global governance. , promoting mutual communication and strengthening the people's base of BRICS cooperation.


Academic plan


In accordance with the current global epidemic situation, in order for students to participate in activities in a safe and healthy environment, the BRICS Summer Program 2022 will be conducted online with team research. Teamresearch will be grouped by topic, excellent research team will be rewarded.


Topic Introduction


The topic of the BRICS Summer Program is “A New Stage of Globalization: Impetus for the Development of the BRICS Countries”.


What are the features of the source, action and evolution of the country's development impulse as a special type of system integration? Do the development impulses of different countries have figurative differences and abstract common features? The BRICS countries and emerging economies have made exceptionally rich practical efforts on these issues, as well as accumulated much-needed lessons that need to be summarized. This theme focuses on the keyword "National Development Momentum" and shares the current themes of global governance and development momentum of the BRICS countries and emerging economies from a multidisciplinary, multidisciplinary and multilevel perspective.

Certificate


The Center for BRICS Studies at Fudan University will award certificates to all participants. Outstanding students will be awarded additional certificates by the Shanghai Municipal Education Commission.
