The International Forum "Universities, Business and Climate Change. The SCO Territory" is a platform for intellectual interaction between business, government and science of the SCO countries on issues of achieving national and corporate objectives in the field of climate agenda and decarbonization.
The forum will address the following key questions:
What formats of strategic cooperation between business, universities and the state in achieving state and corporate goals of low-carbon development can be the most effective?
What are the practical and strategic benefits for the university from engaging in the green agenda?
What competencies are needed by businesses to implement ESG strategies and improve non-financial reporting, by the financial sector to “green” portfolios, and by the state to implement the national decarbonization strategy, and how to develop them in modern students.
What opportunities are opening up for businesses and universities in the framework of cooperation with colleagues from SCO countries in the climate direction?
The event will be held on April 3, 2025, in person simultaneously in Moscow, Almaty and Bishkek with an online broadcast around the world.
