This is an opportunity for young people studying Russian to test their knowledge and compete for the title of world champion. This year, all participating teams will be divided geographically into five divisions: Near Abroad, Asia, Africa, America and Europe.

Team:

1. Participants-

   • Who - foreign citizens residing outside Russia in one geographic location (city, district, region, etc.), with the ability to quickly assemble a team to go through the stages of the Championship, with a level of Russian language proficiency not lower than the basic level A2 of the Russian state certification system for Russian as a foreign language.

   • Age - from 16 to 22 years.

   • Number - 5 people.

   
   

2. Trainer-

   • Who - a teacher or mentor accompanying the team.

   • Age - over 21.

   • Number - 1 person.

   • Duties: accompany and prepare the team for victory.

Prizes:

1. Each member of the team that takes 1st, 2nd or 3rd place in the division-

   • personal certificate; 

   • memorable prizes. 

   
   

2. Each member of the team that reached the division finals-

   • trip to Russia for the final competition;

   • cultural program;

   • Championship medal.

   
   

3. Each member of the team that wins the super final-

   • the title of "World Champion in Russian for Foreigners - 2025";

   • memorable prizes.

Championship Program:

• Registration, master classes for coaches, qualification and draw will be held online.

• The qualifying round, 1/16, 1/8 and 1/4 finals, semi-final and game for third place will be held remotely at the educational institutions of the participating teams, Open Education Centers and other foreign venues.

• The final and Superfinal will be held in person in Russia.

Important: All expenses for travel, accommodation and meals for the finalist teams and their coaches will be covered by the organizers of the Championship.
