The international internship of the Russian Geographical Society is a project aimed at developing cooperation between Russian and foreign youth in the field of geography, ecology and tourism.
Program participants can be young people aged 18 to 35, graduates or students of the faculties of history, geography, ecology, tourism, as well as community leaders working in the field of geography and related sciences.
The project participants will get acquainted with the culture and traditions of the indigenous population of Altai and visit the main sights, museums and specially protected natural areas of the region.
The educational program includes meetings with scientists, teachers, public figures of the region, studying the experience of youth clubs of the Russian Geographical Society in the Siberian Federal District. At the events, foreign guests will present their own initiatives, current areas of activity, and the results of the implementation of projects in the field of geography and related sciences.
The terms of participation
To participate in the program, you must fill out an application and complete a creative task. On a personal page in a social network (Vk) post a post with reflections on the topic "The relevance of studying and preserving the environment." It is necessary to talk about the conservation of natural wealth in your country (district, city). The role of scientific research and environmental education in addressing this issue.
In the publication, it is necessary to mark the account of the Youth Club of the Russian Geographical Society (VK) and the Youth Club of the Russian Geographical Society in the Republic of Altai (VK) and indicate the hashtags #YouthclubRGO #InternshipRGO_Altai #YouthClubRGO_Altai
The organizers cover the costs associated with food and accommodation for participants, provide an educational and cultural program during the internship. Travel from the place of residence to the city of Gorno-Altaisk and back is paid by the participants themselves.
