On April 28 at 12:30 the National Library of the Republic of Tatarstan will host the second open lecture on international relations as part of the Global Talks project. This project is being implemented by the Academy of Youth Diplomacy with the support of the Ministry of Youth Affairs of the Republic of Tatarstan and MGIMO University of the Russian Foreign Ministry .


Nowadays, the information field is becoming a new dimension of international relations, where each side speaks its own truth, and further developments of events depend on posts on social networks. The influence of information on international relations will be studied in detail in the lecture “ How to read world news and not go crazy?” from the Global Talks project.

Speakers will share methods of recognizing lies and assessing the objectivity of information, and will also teach how not to overload the brain and remain calm in the world of information noise.


The lecture will be attended by:

  • ​​a profiler, a specialist in the field of behavior prediction and lie detection. Head of the educational direction of the ANO "Research Center for Corporate Security", Moscow, Konstantin Mitroshin;

  • author of the YouTube channel “Planetrina” (more than 116 thousand subscribers) Arina Samuskevich;

  • practicing psychologist.
