Project office for international youth cooperation "Russia-BRICS" to participate in the International Municipal Forum of the BRICS Countries which will be held in St. Petersburg at the Expoforum Convention and Exhibition Center on November 5-6.
Organizers of the Forum *will not provide transportation, accomodation and meals.* But as member of "Russia-BRICS" delegation *participation fees of 30000 rubles will be waived off.*
That means *participation will be free for you but you will need to manage your transportation, accomodation and meals.*
The International Municipal Forum of the BRICS Countries is an annual business forum that takes place in St. Petersburg with the support of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia, Rossotrudnichestvo and the Government of St. Petersburg.
In 2021, the Forum will be held in St. Petersburg at the Expoforum Convention and Exhibition Center on November 5-6, and delegations from the five countries will take part in the forum.
The theme of the IMF BRICS'2021: “Challenges to sustainable development and international municipal cooperation in the BRICS + format. Development of municipalities as a gyroscope of a changing world ”. The multidisciplinary business program is dedicated to different areas, but the main block relates to the issues of economic development of the territories. The Forum also plans annual presentations of investment projects of municipalities of the BRICS countries, the conclusion of agreements on cooperation and twinning between cities of the BRICS countries, agreements between associations and unions, agreements and contracts between enterprises and corporations of the BRICS countries.
IMF BRICS is a unique and innovative format of international events, the holding of which is supported at the level of the highest authorities of our country, federal ministries and departments, development institutions of the BRICS countries. The task of the Forum is to contribute to the integration of positive world experience, the implementation of state tasks on the ground, the development of social and economic well-being of municipal territories, the introduction of information, digital and innovative technologies in the daily activities of municipal cities in developing countries.
The Forum is focused on the socio-economic development of regional and municipal territories; increasing the investment attractiveness of cities in Russia and other countries of the "five"; strengthening relations between the BRICS states and other countries; promoting a positive image of the Russian Federation abroad.
IMF BRICS is a platform that forms an intellectual agenda for the international municipal community in accordance with the current and specific needs of the time and society itself, without "general" and abstract topics for discussion. We are convinced that in the near future the site of the International Municipal Forum of the BRICS countries will become widely known and will bring together representatives of municipal cities from all over the world in St. Petersburg every year.
IMF BRICS'2021 is planned to be held on November 5-6 at the EXPOFORUM site, St. Petersburg.
