What is the Art Universe?
The Art Universe is a new engine for creating an infinitely unique multi-layered visitor experience in creative spaces and museums. This engine allows you to supplement the exhibits of any museum, add layers of any data to it, ensures the integration of the digital universe inside the physical one by means of neural network algorithms for processing and combining exhibits and works of young designers, illustrators and artists in statics and dynamics.
The Organizer of the Competition is the Autonomous Non-Commercial Organization "Center for the Implementation of Educational, Cultural, Sports and Social Projects" ZVEZDA "(hereinafter referred to as the Organizer).
The competition is held with the support of the Partners: the Presidential Fund for Cultural Initiatives, the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation, the State Tretyakov Gallery.
Art Universe Digital Playground - A new digital space that can host existing and newly created digital art that enhances the experience visits to museums in Russia that promote the work of young and professional authors of digital content, Russian creative thought, as well as the ability to place new unique digital content on the territory, inside and outside the Tretyakov Gallery and other venues.
Participant - the author of a work from Russia, the CIS, near and far abroad, aged 14-35 years old, a beginner or professionally engaged in the creation of digital art content with using AR, VR, 2D/3D, motion design and other technologies.
Expert Council - experts and mentors of ANO ZVEZDA, invited art experts from the State Tretyakov Gallery, the Ministry of Culture, as well as invited experts in digital art.
Goals and objectives of the Competition
The main goal of the Competition:
Attracting talented artists, designers, IT specialists from the Russian Federation (hereinafter referred to as the Russian Federation) and the countries of the Commonwealth of Independent States (hereinafter referred to as the CIS) to participate in the competition for the development of digital art and the formation of the creative potential of participants in the field of IT.
The main objectives of the Competition:
To select digital works of artists, designers, IT specialists from different regions of the Russian Federation and CIS countries to participate in the project.
To help participants realize their creative ideas and present them in the form of works on the basis of a Russian museum.
Competition task
Tasks for participants of the Competition to choose from:
choose one of the exhibits of the Tretyakov Gallery, a list of which is available on
the Contest website https://lomoclub.ru/au, learn all the details about its creation and destiny, rethink the ideological content/value of the exhibit, and then, based on this information, create your own digital Artwork;
choose a place or a point inside or outside the New Tretyakov Gallery where the work being created where the work being created will fully reflect the author's idea;
use the building of the New Tretyakov Gallery and the space around it to create and place the work.
