About the event
The competition is timed to coincide with the II International Scientific Conference of Students and Young Scientists "For the sustainable development of civilization: cooperation, science, education, technology (Africa's Path to the 17 SDGs: an integrated approach)".
The main theme of the contest is "Africa — the countries of the world: partnership for sustainable development".
The students who took the first places in the competition will be invited to the conference as speakers to present their research within one of the thematic sessions of the conference. Travel and accommodation — at the expense of the RUDN.
The purpose of the event is to develop and maintain a system of targeted identification, to involve and develop talented young people as future specialists of the knowledge economy environment in the context of priority issues of our time, problems and challenges, possible trends and directions of human development, processes of international and interdisciplinary integration, the global agenda within the framework of sustainable development goals at the level of the world, regions, individual states.
7 steps to participate in the competition
Select the SDGs (Sustainable Development Goal), African countries and countries of another region(s). Formulate a topic with a supervisor in accordance with the main theme of the competition "Africa — countries of the world: partnership for sustainable development".
Prepare documents according to the established forms: - application for participation in the competition; - consent to the processing of personal data.
Get, sign a recommendation from a representative of the university management (rector / vice—rector of the university, dean / director of a separate educational unit - faculty, institute, center, etc.; deputy head of scientific work) (in free form).
Issue a competitive work in accordance with the established requirements.
Send the competition materials to world-partner@rudn.ru .
Prepare a presentation and defend a competitive work in case of reaching the final
Wait for the results of the contest.
Undergraduate, graduate and specialist students of all areas of training, all courses and all forms of education can become participants of the competition on the recommendation of a representative of the management of a third—party university (rector / vice-rector of the university, dean/director of a separate educational unit - faculty, institute, center, etc.; deputy head of research).
