Organizers: The Russian International Affairs Council (RIAC), together with the Union of Journalists of Russia and the magazine "International Affairs", with the support of the Interfax news agency, the magazine "Russia in Global Affairs", and the Gorchakov Fund, announces the start of the new season of the 2025 International Journalism Competition.

Who can participate?

• Full-time employees and other authors of Russian print and electronic media, or students and postgraduates studying at universities at the time of application.

• Those who have not reached the age of 36 at the time of application for the competition.

• Those who published material between October 1, 2024 and October 31, 2025.

• Only citizens of Russia are allowed to participate in the competition.

Competition Nominations:

1. Best analytical article;

2. Best interview;

3. Best report;

4. Best analytical article on international issues by an aspiring international journalist.

Prizes and Competition Regulations:

• The winners will be awarded cash prizes and commemorative plaques.

• Prize fund: 200,000 RUR.

• The Union of Journalists of Russia will recognize the finalists' work, and the information project for young journalists, YOJO.ru, will recognize the finalists' best work in the category "Best Analytical Article on International Issues by an Emerging International Journalist."

• The A.M. Gorchakov Public Diplomacy Fund will highlight entries from contestants focused on humanitarian cooperation—the development of international ties in culture, education, science, and civic engagement.
