Wonju UNESCO City of Literature are calling for applications from writers connected to the cities that make up the Cities of Literature network to apply for an 8-week residency opportunity at the Toji Cultural Centre.

There are no requirements that the resident must complete during their stay. Around 16 to 19 other writers and artists will be staying at the Toji Cultural Centre during the residency period.

Applicants must have at least B2 proficiency in English for communication during the residency.

Support:

• A round-trip airfare

• Transportation on arrival and departure dates

• Accommodation with a workspace,

• Organic meals at the Toji Cultural Centre cafeteria

How to Apply?

To apply, please write between 1,000 and 2,000 words in 12 pt covering each of the following points below-

1. Yourself

2. Your literary works, achievements, awards, etc

3. Your literary world

4. Why would you like to come to Wonju?

5. Your plan for creative works during the Residency?

6. How much will you incorporate Wonju Experience in your new creative works?
