The King’s Undergraduate Research Fellowships (KURF) programme offers King's undergraduate students the opportunity to gain research experience by working as paid research fellows on projects by King’s leading academics and research staff.


KURF enables students to take part in active research across a broad range of disciplines, with projects available in all Faculties and subject areas. The programme is open to all undergraduate students, including first-year, final-year, and international students.


Benefits:


Students who complete the full Award will benefit from-


  • A bursary of up to £1,500 to support their research experience

  • The official title of ‘King’s Research Fellow’, recognising their contribution to research at King’s

  • Formal recognition on their Higher Education Achievement Record (HEAR) through the prestigious King’s Research Award

  • A digital certificate and LinkedIn badge to showcase on job, internship, or postgraduate applications

  • Membership in the King’s Edge community, with exclusive invitations to the King's Edge Celebration and KURF celebration, where they can network with employers, receive a professional careers consultation, get a LinkedIn headshot, and celebrate their achievements with peers.
