The Global Connect Fellowship (GCF) is a prestigious and exciting opportunity for young scholars from around the world to spend two - three months undertaking research under the mentorship of world-leading faculty, on NTU’s vibrant, international, state-of-the-art campus.


Bachelor/Master students graduating in 2026 or 2027 are eligible for the GCF Spring Intake starting on 1 Feb 2026. The Fellowship will be for 2 months. All applicants will be informed of the result of their application by the end of December 2025.


What does it entail?


  • Fellowship: Receive a stipend of SGD 5,000 along with complimentary housing.

  • Research Mentorship from World-Leading Faculty: Connect with experienced scientists and faculty members to receive valuable guidance for an enriching research experience.

  • The Singapore Experience: Research and network in one of the world's most vibrant, dynamic, cutting-edge, and multicultural cities, which is a gateway to Asia.

  • NTU Singapore Campus: Live, work and play on NTU's beautiful, award-winning Yunnan Garden campus with state-of-the-art facilities.

  • Masterclasses for Professional Development: Attend specialised seminars designed to enhance your professional skills, providing insights into various aspects of academic and research careers.

  • Symposium Presentation: Showcase your research findings by presenting at the GCF Symposium, offering a platform to share your work with peers, faculty, and professionals.

  • Social Engagement: Enjoy a vibrant social community by participating in activities designed for bonding with other Fellows, fostering a sense of camaraderie and collaboration.

  • Networking Opportunities: Engage in networking events, workshops, and seminars that connect you with professionals, researchers, and peers, expanding your professional network and creating lasting connections.


Admissions requirements:


  • Bachelor’s or Master’s students graduating in 2026 or 2027, preferably in STEM

  • Strong Interest in pursuing research and a PhD at NTU

  • Good GPA
