The Fellowship aims to develop the next generation of business and policy leaders. There are two available Fellowship positions for 2026/2027. The Fellows will each complete a research project over the course of 12 months on an issue driving change across Asia and/or the Middle East.

Applicants should propose original research on issues shaping developments across Asia and/or the Middle East. Research will ideally fall under one of the following broad categories:

1. Geopolitics and trade

2. Technology, data and AI

3. Energy and sustainability

   
   

Benefits:

• Fellows will join Asia House’s renowned business and policy programme, receiving research support for the duration of their Fellowship and having access to their vast network of contacts across the private and public sectors.

• Fellows will receive a stipend of £24,000, paid in equal instalments over the 12-month period.

Eligibility:

The Fellowship is open to people of all nationalities and in all locations and can be completed remotely.

To be eligible candidates must-

• Have completed a Master’s and/or PhD by October 2026.

• Be fluent in written and spoken English.

• Be in the early stages of their career.

• Have a keen interest in and knowledge of economic/political/commercial issues affecting Asia and/or the Middle East.

• Be self-driven and enthusiastic, with leadership potential.
