The Gorchakov Fund announces the start of the competitive selection process for the educational program MediaLab BRICS for aspiring journalists. The project is organized in partnership with the ANO “Academy of Youth Diplomacy”, and with Russia Today providing information support.

Young journalists from BRICS countries will meet in Kazan to explore global media trends, learn more about the culture and traditions of Tatarstan, and create a joint international project. Under the guidance of experts, participants will analyze how to craft stories that appeal to diverse audiences and identify topics that resonate globally.

Who Can Apply?

• Citizens of Russia and other BRICS countries aged 20 to 35;

• Students of journalism, international relations, political science, and economics;

• Early-career journalists specializing in international affairs;

• Bloggers working with an international audience.

Participation Conditions:

1. The Gorchakov Fund covers accommodation in shared twin rooms, meals, the cultural program, and local transportation within Kazan.

2. Participants cover travel expenses to Kazan (airfare or train tickets), visa fees (if a humanitarian visa is not an option), and airport or train station transfers.

3. The organizers will cover travel expenses for the authors of the three best videos.
