The MTCP Scholarship is sponsored by the Malaysian government and dedicated to international students from developing countries to pursue their postgraduate studies in Malaysia, whilst at the same time acquire the necessary knowledge and skills that could contribute to the development of their country. The duration of the award is between 24 to 36 months for the Master's Degree Programme.
Eligibility:
International students from the MTCP recipient countries.
Not more than 45 years old on the date of application.
Academic Qualifications:
Minimum Second Class Upper (Honours) / CGPA 3.00 at undergraduate level.
English language requirements-
IELTS overall score of 6.0 and above; or
TOEFL iBT total score of 60 and above; or
Obtained a previous degree(s) with English used as the medium of instruction.
Scholarship Benefits:
Tuition fees for the whole sponsorship period will be paid directly to the university upon issuance of an invoice by the university.
Monthly allowance of RM3,500.00 per month will be paid directly to your Malaysian bank account; and
One-off return economy class airline ticket from the student's closest
international airport to Malaysia and back to the student's home country.
